Explosions in the Sky - Live Vancouver - 03.05.2007 VIDEO

Explosions in the Sky - Live Vancouver - 03.05.2007 VIDEO

Im a bit baffled by this video as it looks like I haven't posted it before! which is surprising as its [I believe] a previously unavailable full length video concert of Explosions in The Sky from 2007 or at the very least very rare. Fantastic semi/pro audience video
Ps. Ive also re-uploaded fresh links for the other 2 EiTS videos & the Mono video...

Motion Sickness Of time Travel

If you are a fan of 'Emeralds' & you haven't yet heard of 'Motion Sickness Of time Travel' then this is your lucky day. You can find a copy of their latest release 'Seeping Through The Veil Of The Unconscious' over on Boomkat
If you go their Bandcamp store they have some incredible music at the 'Pay Whatever You Want Rates!!' (for which I prostrate to them for). If you go straight to track 3 on the Album Awakening I think you'll see why, as a huge fan of Emeralds I'm real excited about this find :)

Sigur Rós - New Concerts + News

Im posting all the Live Sigur rós FLAC's/MP3's/VIDEO's over on Victoryroselossless now. Im slowly working through them all with the aim to offer the very best possible quality & consistency. Almost finished the 2000's. Some incredible concerts to come from 2001 as well as many previously unheard.
Still in the process of changing the format to get the best out of the site... :)

Also, due to specific requests, there are some concerts that have been re-mastered that are off a date ahead of where Im up to posting wise so I'll post those here until I catch up with that particular date.

If your looking for a particular concert or FLAC's please email me using the little widget on the right & I will do my best to oblige

Just realised... The title might be a little misleading, so . . .
Sigur Rós News:
As of January 2011

Jónsi has now finished his world wide tour promoting his solo album 'Go'. The band are planning to meet up this year with a view to writing more songs. (There is already a fair amount of material around which they have written on and off in 2010/9) Its quite possible there will be a new album this year but any actual concerts in 2011 are doubtful.
Jónsi briefly mentioned he has been playing some new kind of music and that he hasn't done anything like it before. From a brief video clip it sounded a little 'Frakkur' like. Maybe he will record some of it??
We 'should' also see the release the Sigur Rós Concert Video soon :)

2001.04.21 St. Georges Church, Brighton UK - Re Master

2001.04.21 St. Georges Church, Brighton UK - Re Master

Lineage: Unkown AUD
Quality/Performance: 95/100

This concert has come as a real surprise, the quality being very different from the 1st time I came across this concert. The sound is just amazingly good but what's most exciting is having the 3 'Rimur' songs here as performed by Steindor Anderson in a quality I don't believe we have heard before. Simply stunning.
However... Only the first nine songs are in this quality. The last four (which originaly I wasn't going to include) are off an inferior
standard but for the sake of completeness they are included as a '2nd disk'
Part 2 of the FLAC downloads just contains the 3 Rimur tracks if you particularly want those on their own

Set List:

01 Fyrsta
02 Samskeyti
03 Von
04 Ny Batterí
05 Rimur #5
06 Rimur #3
07 Rimur #1
08 DaudlagiÖ
09 Nyja Lagid
~ Second Disk (lower quality)
10 Olsen Olsen
11 Hafssól
12 Sven-G-Englar
13 PopplagiÖ

2001.04.13 Szene Wien, Vienna - Re Master

2001.04.13 Szene Wien, Vienna - Re Master

Lineage: SBD

Quality/Performance: 99/100

I had done a previous master on this one but realised during the process that the previous version was an FM broadcast where as this version is a soundboard! and as such the quality is just about as good as you could wish for in a live recording. What is particularly impressive is the soundstage... Listen to the drums during the latter parts of Von and you will see what I mean. The quality & performance of this one put its easily within the top 5 of all time great live Sigur Rós recordings. Just wonderful. Phenomenal almost 2 hour long concert.

NB: There are some drops in the very quietest sections of the audio although not enough to spoil the recording. This is due to the settings on the compressor which I used. Because the over all sound was so good I didn't want to change anything so Ive left these [very slight] faults in.

Set List:

01 Intro - Fur Alina

02 Nyjá Lagio

03 Fyrsta

04 Samskeyti

05 Olsen Olsen

06 Von

07 Ny Batterí

08 DaudlagiÖ

09 E-Bow

10 Hafssól

11 Sven-G-Englar

12 PopplagiÖ

Jónsi - Laugardsholl 2010.12.29 RUV FM Radio Broadcast - Last Concert !

Exactly the same concert as the webcast only this one is recorded from the radio directly in Iceland (notes included with upload) Only available in FLAC. Well worth it though! Its fitting that this last concert of Jónsi's is by far the best live quality recording. The way its been mixed is just sublime. I absolutely love it!
