Only some brief music but interesting none the less. Composed in honor of Roni Horn by poet Anne Carson, this performance of sung and spoken word features a mix of voice and harmonium. Icelandic musicians Olof Arnalds and Kjartan Sveinsson of Sigur Ros, join Carson and poets R. Currie and Penelope Thomas for this special program.

Im not 100% sure who John Somers is although I think I will be kicking myself soon as the name is very familier! Anyway if you enjoyed 'Jónsi & Alex - Riceboy Sleeps' and 'Parachutes' then you will love this dreamy ambient pop music. Lovely summer evening music. Their 1st album is out any day now. NB: Just found out - John Somers is the Brother of Alex Somers whose song 'A Candy Coated Slow Down' was featured on Jónsi & Alex's 'Rain Down My Favourite Songs' compilation CD!

A new discovery! Sleepingdog is the recording alias of Belgian songwriter and vocalist Chantal Acda, who teams up with Adam Wiltzie of Stars Of The Lid and Dead Texan fame. A bit like Heather Woods Broderick playing with Stars of the Lid. I love this music!. Superb quality sound. They have a new album out called 'Polar Life' I love it to bits, hauntingly beautiful.

Fantastic concert. Perfect quality, loads of crowd banter, a great selection of her most recent songs and a perfectly delivered set make this a must have experience.
I was advised to give Joanna a few goes to really 'get her' At first I wasn't so sure but Im really glad I stuck with it because now I just love her songs and her new 3x CD 'Have One On Me' is just fantastic.
