I want to see that film. I pre-ordered the limited edition. Maybe the rest of extras in that limited edition are just something not necessary, but if I don't buy it, I'll be always thinking about how it would be and so on. Anyway, what I want, is to see that film and to feel once again the magnificence of Sigur Rós. I've just seen The Tree of Life in the cinema and I've felt things I only have felt before when listening to Sigur Rós.

Placed my order earlier this afternoon. I was already planning on buying it, but this video of "Festival" really sold me. I like the way it seems to consciously shift the focus from Jonsi to the other guys...after all, he's kind of hogged the spotlight lately, hasn't he? :)

Can't wait to see the film.

I think this is a goodbye...

No gobbledigook... Probably it does not fit with the rest of the setlist and they wanted a more epic live album. What do you think?

To be honest I started with ( ) so by the time we arrived at Gbbgook I was not so taken. I love everything SR has ever done BUT for example listening to Alafoss live leaves me with an inexpressible feeling that no other music has come close to touching. Gobbldigook does not do that for me! :)
I would imagine a big majority of SR fans love them for their grander/darker/longer pieces so in this respect Im happy not to have to fast forward the 'ol DVD. Anyway they only wrote the song as a piss take of the Eurovision song contest and perhaps my main point... I really don't think the song expresses who or what SR are or what has made the biggest impact with audiences although it did work with the confetti during later live performance/festivals.

Yes, I agree with you, I prefer to have my DVD without that track to have a unified DVD with an splendid performance.

I'm so excited about this release. I was there, standing completely in front. I'm not a fan of them at all, just happened to be in London with nothing better to do. Still cannot enjoy listening to their albums. But this will always remain one of the best shows I've ever witnessed. Wonderful music, great crowd, beautiful presentation with that waterfall in front of the stage and some more surprises.
If you're a fan, this should be a must-have. Pity that they did not include that one song. But for me it's not that big of a deal, it was probably my least favorite of the set they played.
Perhaps I might even start to like their music after watching the DVD a couple of time :-)

Hey tunic :)
thats a lovely comment, not being into them yet still really appreciating them and their show.
Hope you do get to like them. the live material is quite different from the albums, especially the earlier shows 99-03
