Jónsi - KEXP - Go Do - Solo Acoustic Video

Im not sure if this is the same Go Do from the session of the 9th but its perhaps one of the purist most beautiful solo renditions of Go Do by Jónsi. Whilst the audio might be the same, the video is new. Thanks to Fidrildi :)

Jónsi - Wiltern Theatre, LA - 17.10.2010 - Webcast

Wonderful show as always from Jónsi & the boys. Really nice to hear how 'Sticks & Stones' is still developing as a live song, Its so well done now & sounds incredible live. Don't be fooled by this being a webcast, the quality of the audio here is quite possibly the best yet.

NB:There is a slight difference in the sound of track 1 + a couple of very small artefacts in track 2 but these are minimal. Enjoy :) (Lineage details included in the download)

Jónsi - Brighton 14.09.2010 - (including brand new song!)

Lineage: John Ramsey Signature Mics > ZoomH4 @ 48,000 khz / 24 bit > Ozone Mastering Suite > Flac 8.

Taper: Jon @victoryrose

Last night's concert found Jónsi's voice at one of the most powerful I have heard for a long time. Also by a happy coincidence the acoustics at the Dome where particularly good for his voice and the music. For this reason the concert was recorded at 48,000 / 24bit to give it that little bit of extra depth and clarity :)

Also, to my surprised delight Jónsi sang a !!brand new song!! which I absolutely love.

Over all, a 10/10 concert in every way. The sound surpassed my expectations which has led to this particular concert to being one of the very best we have of Jónsi.

NB: If I may suggest again that you start listening to this with no EQ. Then adjust to your personal preference

Jónsi - Brand New Song! - Brighton 14.09.2010

I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to be at the Brighton concert to capture this brand new song. I may be slightly bias but I absolutely love it!

The whole concert will be up a.s.a.p.

(Because the acoustic's where better than recent shows I recorded this one at 48,000 / 24 bit for a bit more depth and clarity for the audiophiles amongst us!)

Rakafeed - States

Found this album a while ago and was pretty blown away by it. It really benefits from some good headphone listening time. There are loads of exquisite beautiful & precisely delivered moments here which, for me, really lifts this album above the rest. Hope you enjoy it as well

" Rakafeed are primary arbiter Richard Northen in association with Plan B, Florence and the Machine and Massive Attack collaborator Sally Herbert and guitaristElliot King.
Rakafeed architect, Richard Northen is a master of composition. Already responsible for underground compositions for Slow Moving Mille (actress Amelia Warner) formerSteve Lawler collaborator and Balearic producer Kevin Swain, and the award winning young director Ilaria D'Elia, whose next film he is scoring, he is delighted to be at the helm of Rakafeed's debut.

Featuring seven beautiful, autumn ready compositions, States is cinematic, electronic, complex yet accessible and influenced by classical music. Short-attention-span types will find it challenging, but others will be immersed in the luscious sounds and textures.

"The music is for late at night. It has a sense of expansiveness - it allows you to have random thoughts," says Northen.
Call it ambient or chill-out if you must - but you won't mistake it for just another ambient record"
