Curt from 'The Sea Shall Not Have Them' has very kindly allowed me to post their debut EP here on Victoryrosemusic for free download. It really is an exceptional debut. You can hear many influences mixed into what is an excellant post rock CD. Curt is writing a new album penned for sometime in 2009 which will be a mix of Eluvium style drone and post rock. Instrumental music is sometimes met with resistance by music-loving punters, but local Brissie/Gold Coast act, ‘The Sea Shall Not Have Them’ are turning heads and swaying opinions with their lush, cinematic and yet at times totally rock-n-roll soundscapes. Toted by local street press as the ‘outfit to watch’, we are proud to feature the primarily instrumental act ‘The Sea Shall Not Have Them’ as our feature artists this week.
